Installation Guides

Android app install

Use the official Google Play route where available. Avoid sideloading unless specifically instructed during controlled testing.

Web app access

Open the product from the Nexus Aero website and save the page as a bookmark or home-screen shortcut if required.

iPhone / iPad access

Use the secure Nexus Aero web address. If Safari shows a privacy warning, refresh the page, check the address, and avoid old bookmarks.

FAQs

Does Nexus Aero store user data on the website?

Current website pages do not use customer logins, payment processing or a stored user database. Contact and tester forms may still pass information by email.

Can the tools replace official pilot checks?

No. Nexus Aero tools are planning aids. Pilots remain responsible for official weather checks, NOTAMs, permissions and safe operational decisions.

How do testers get help?

Testers should use the tester page or the agreed feedback route for the specific product being tested.

Troubleshooting

Location not working

Check browser or app location permission, device GPS/location settings, and whether the page is running through the secure HTTPS address.

Maps not loading

Check signal strength, refresh the page, and confirm that map layers are not hidden or blocked by a weak connection.

Forecast not updating

Reload the forecast, check the selected location, and confirm the device has a live internet connection.

iPad says the site is not safe

Use https://nexusaero.co.uk/, avoid old bookmarks, and retry after clearing the tab if Safari cached an earlier certificate or redirect warning.

App install issues

Use Google Play testing links where possible. Android sideload routes can show extra warning screens and are not the preferred tester route.

Browser compatibility

Use a current version of Chrome, Safari or Edge. Very old browser versions may not support all app-style features.
